Someone once told me that they didn't believe in love. Several things hit me at once with that statement. How can you not believe in love? What happen to them that made them not believe? Were they shown real love? But the more I think about it I begin to wonder myself. How many
people do we know that actually has been in a long relationship and there has been no bullshit invovled? I don't know of any that have not ended. We won't even get into the ones that ended badly. Today I had to explain to my son why people are just shitty and it hurt
to have that convo with him. How do you explain to a 10 yr old that someone doesn't want to be his friend anymore for unknown reasons? How do you ease their pain when you, yourself are crying? How do you give your childern hope when you, yourself have none? How do you even begin to repair the damage that was done? How do you pick up the
pieces and move on with your life? At what point does the pain subside? At what point do you say I'm ok. At what point do you allow others in again? At what point do you say the things you want to say, without fear of being laughed at? Or worse rejected. At what point do you stop caring about the person who inflicted so much pain? At what point do you wish the other person death or worse? Is it true we were only meant to have one person in our lives? What if we let that one person go not knowing? What if that person doesn't want us? What if that person doesn't know
your alive? What if that person lives states away? Worlds away? Someone once said that just because someone doesnt love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with everything they have. What if it isn't good enough? Does that make you a selfish person?
